Hi, I’m Sarah Kipp. I’m a keynote speaker and executive coach. When I first connect with potential clients, I like to offer that you, the client, remain the expert on you in the room. When I get to do my job well, I get to ask questions that hopefully help you unlock insights, make discoveries, reveal or create the path to success—as you define it—that’s going to resonate most deeply with you.
Critical to being able to have that exploration is a sense of connection. I think it’s really important that clients feel a sense of connection and energetic resonance with their coach. With that in mind, I like to offer prospective clients and people a sense of who I am—a few aspects of my identity that may or not may not be relevant to our coaching conversation but that allow you to know a little bit more about who I am and how I move through this world.
I’m a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I’m also a parent of two young adults who identify as nonbinary. My background is in deaf education. I’ve worked with hearing, hard-of-hearing, and capital D deaf clients. I’ve worked with clients who identify as neurotypical, and I’ve also worked with many clients who identify as neurodivergent.
Many of the executives who’ve chosen to engage with me recognize and value both the importance—and also the complexity—of what it means to work within teams that have people with a variety of learning styles, communication styles and needs, and also identities and cultures as part of the team.
I’ve been coaching since 2009. I have my professional coach certification (PCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF). I also have a PhD in Human Development and Learning. Thanks so much for letting me share a little bit of myself with you. I look forward to having an opportunity to connect.
